It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gurvinder Singh Ubhi at St. Boniface Hospital on January 27, 2026 at the age of 53.
Gurvinder will be lovingly remembered and survived by his spouse Ramanjeet Kaur Ubhi; children Arshdeep and Gurkirt Ubhi, parents Manjit Singh Ubhi and Sukdev Kaur Ubhi; brothers and sisters Gurvind Singh, Harminder Singh, Ravinder Kaur and Ranvir Kaur; nieces and nephews Amol Ubhi, Gurshan S. Ubhi, Simar S. Ubhi and Kirat Ubhi; sisters-in-law Vimaljeet Kaur Ubhi and Navneet Kaur Ubhi. He was predeceased by his mother, Sukhdev Kaur Ubhi, in December of 2024.
Gurvinder was born in New Delhi, India and came to Canada in May 1991 at the age of 18. He worked hard day and night and started his own business named Deshmesh Autobody.
Gurvinder was known as someone that always thought outside the box. He was caring, loving and always wanted the best for everyone. He thought of everyone before himself.
