Gwen Braun

This wonder woman was predeceased by her husband Wilhelm(Bill) Braun. She is survived by her daughter Leela, son Mark(Stacey) grandsons Oscar and Oliver, her son Douglas(Suzanne) grandsons Reid, Liam, and granddaughter Emma. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Helen, brothers Bob, John, Bill and Margaret. She is also, survived by her sisters Betty, Barb, and brothers Doug, Scott, Tom Bruce and Jim.

It was evident that she had a generous and caring nature early on when she was helping care for her younger siblings that carried into her career as a loving caring nurse and mother.

Gwen worked in the rural areas of Manitoba as a Matron of the Glenboro hospital and worked in the Altona hospital after she married Bill Braun.

She was a traveler and a lover of people and places. She found Bill (dad) and raised a family. Gwen always went out of her way to support her extended family and friends. Her compassion for people created a motherly figure for many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday January 6 at 2:00 PM at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
