A dearly loved wife, mom, grandma, aunt and friend passed away peacefully April 19th, 2013 with family by her side.
Iris will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob, her children; Art (Lee), Ellen (Lorne), Jeannie (Ken), Michael (Cindy), as well as Jane (Terry), Yvette (Wayne), and her grandchildren. Iris will also be remembered by sister-in-law Betty and numerous nieces and nephews.
Iris was predeceased by her first husband Ivan Mencik, and her brother Stan Patton.
Iris lived life to the fullest. She loved entertaining family and friends, gardening, travel and her dogs. Sadly the ability to do the things she loved was taken from her far too soon.
A come and go reception celebrating Iris’ life will be held Friday April 26th from 2 to 4 pm with a tribute planned at 2:30 at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home. 1291 McGillivary Blvd.
