Jan Elliott (Hotel), born April 4th, 1928, passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital, Monday, November 19th after a lengthy illness.
Jean is survived by her daughter Jackie Cycon (Rick), her grandson Mark Cycon, brothers Ralph Hotel (Muriel) and Ron Hotel (Linda). She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2011.
Jean was born and raised in Austin Manitoba and eventually taught school there until she married Bill. Together they travelled extensively through Europe while Bill was stationed there with the air force. When they returned to Winnipeg, Jean spent many years working at Ringers Pharmacy until the business closed. She then started a new career as a flight attendant on charter flights piloted by husband Bill.
Upon retirement, they spent many happy years wintering in Phoenix, Arizona. Her favorite pastimes were golfing and excelling at crossword puzzles and scrabble.
There will be no service and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
