Joanna Marion Irwin (nee: Rannard, Papiez)

The family announces with sadness, the peaceful passing of Joanna Marion Irwin at the Grace Hospital on Friday, November 29th, 2024 due to pneumonia. Joanna’s passing was a blessing as she had been in pain for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles Valentine “Val” and Dorothy Elizabeth (Cope) Rannard, her sister-in-law Judith “Judy” Elizabeth (Cooper) Rannard, and her husbands Chester Joseph Papiez and Wilson Archibald Irwin.

Joanna is survived by her brother Charles David Rannard, son John Joseph Grant Irwin (Carmen), grandson Ian Grant Irwin (Christina) and two great-granddaughters Mila and Maeve, grandson Reid Graham Irwin (Megan), and numerous relatives.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. A graveside remembrance will be planned for the family in the New Year. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
