Peacefully on August 15, 2014 Mary passed away.
Mary was born in Nottingham, England on May 11, 1923 and was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernest, brother, Bernard, and sister-in-law, Meaghan.
Mary leaves behind her extended family Barb and Bob Taylor, Trevor, Tamara, and Travis, her nephew David and daughters Christina and Jody.
Mary and Ernest were married in England in 1944, and came to Canada in June 1957 where she started work at Misericordia Hospital, where she worked for 25 years before retiring to enjoy travelling, taking many trips back to England and Canada’s west coast.
The family would like to express gratitude to Murray and Natasha Tarvis and family for all their caring, help, and compassion over the years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:00pm at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
