Lucille Blanche Botsford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille Blanche Botsford on July 20th, 2025, lovingly surrounded by family.

Mom had a gentle strength throughout her life, raising 5 children; Dick (Wanda), Paulette (Myron), Brigitte (Gary), Mark (Terri) and Mike (Stephanie), while being a supportive loving wife to her husband Bob. Her unwavering devotion throughout Dad’s devastating illness was an inspiration to us all.

The three most important values that Mom lived by were; love of family, Faith and kindness. That is how she will be remembered by her children, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and all who knew her.

We are comforted knowing Mom is with Dad, Dick and her parents (Hélène and Hormidas Perreault).

A funeral will be held in Winnipeg with interment at Riverview Cemetery, in Fort Frances, planned at a later date.

The family wishes to thank all of Mom’s friends who stayed in touch with her through phone calls, cards and prayers.

Rest now Mom, your love will carry us forward.

The service for Lucille was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at Mary Mother of the Church in Winnipeg.
