Maria Antonia Henriquez De Bolanos

Maria Antonia Bolanos de Henriquez passed away peacefully in her sleep and was welcomed into the Arms of our Heavenly Father on June 2, 2025, at the age of 68. Maria resided in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, Maria was born on August 4, 1956. She is predeceased by her father, Antonio Henriquez, and her mother, Lidia Esperanza Gil. She is survived by her husband, Rafael Bolanos, her sons Dennis and Carlos Bolanos, and her fur babies Lowen (cat) and Thor (dog).

Maria and Rafael met in 1980 and dated for 2 years before getting married in 1982. In 1987, they made the decision to emigrate to Canada for a better life for themselves and children. Maria was a strong and resilient woman who was always a rock for her family. She was beloved for her kind and gentle nature. She loved God, her family, friends and was full of life and joy. Maria carried an aura of love, positivity and kindness. Her family often thought of her as their angel and were always grateful to have her as a wife and mother. There are not enough words to describe the love she felt for her family and often made it known.

As her spirit ascends to Heaven and is welcomed into the presence of God the Father, our Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, strength, courage, kindness and unwavering faith in the face of adversity. Heaven has gained an angel who will be watching over all she loved and cared for. It is farewell for now until we are reunited in Paradise one day.
