Mary Madeline Wesley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Madeline Wesley, who was born on March 21, 1939 in Bearskin, Ontario, and passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa, with her daughters, Valerie and Michele Wesley by her side.

Mary is now reunited with her beloved Husband Ernest Wesley, Her sons William (Bill) Wesley, and Dennis Wesley, her Father Enus Beardy, and Mother Sarah Beardy, her brothers Frank Beardy [Lucy], Emesiah Beardy [Lucy], and Arthur Beardy [Isabel], and her sisters Kelly Gliddy [Philip], Elda Fiddler [Morris], and Cecilia Magashazi [Laslo]. She also joins many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who went before her.

Left to cherish her memory, her children, her daughters Michele and Valerie, her son Donald, her son in law Larry, her 15 grandchildren, her 17 great-grandchildren and her 6 great-great-grandchildren, her sisters Harriet Schroeter [Albert], Jemimah McKay [Ezra], Evelyn Johnup [Paul], and Virginia, and brother Henry Beardy [Caroline], as well as numerous family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Monday June 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Memorial service and Burial in Muskrat Dam on Tuesday, June 2 at 1:00 pm at St. Matthews Anglican Church.
