Molly Rose Brewster (Harvey), also known as 'Hon', short for 'Honey', 80 years old, died peacefully at her home on February 1st, 2022.

Molly was born on the 7th of October 1941 in Trinidad, West Indies. She emigrated to Canada in 1968, settling in Winnipeg.

Molly leaves to mourn her husband of 58 years, James W. Brewster, Cecil Harvey (brother), Madge Niles (sister); her niece/daughter, Shery-Ann Brewster, Cody Brewster (nephew/grandson), Lynda Brewster (niece/daughter), Elvina Brewster (sister-in-law), and Keith Harvey (nephew), and Dino (June) Harvey (nephew). Angela Brewster (sister-in-law), Elizabeth Brewster (sister-in-law), and many, many friends and family across Canada, the Carribbean, and worldwide. Molly was a much loved auntie to many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, blood related, and acquired through longstanding friendships over the years.

Molly had a long career as a unit clerk in the Children's Hospital. Her last years of employment were in the Children's OR Department. Molly was a very gentle, compassionately loyal person. Her attention to detail was unmatched. A gift for organization and hard work made Molly practically irreplaceable on her retirement. St. Mary's Cathedral was Molly's Church. Her faith was unwavering. She was a devoted parishioner and church leader for many years. An avid cricket fan, Molly never missed a game on TV or in person with Winnipeg's Lion's Cricket Club.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St Mary Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0M8 on February 8th, at 1 pm. Proof of Covid19 vaccination is mandatory and will be confirmed at the entrance.

Of Special Note:

We will miss Molly's Pancit, Rum cake ( uniquely made with no fruits or browning), and her Pelau (a national Trinidadian dish).
