Muriel Fletcher passed away peacefully Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Grace Hospital. She was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland November 15, 1921. In October 1940 Muriel married Albert Fletcher. They moved to Canada in 1953. Muriel has been a member of Calvary Temple for many years. She was involved in Prayer Band and Senior Fellowship, as well as a member of the Meadowlarks Choir. She was predeceased by Robert Fullarton (father), Jeannie Elliott (mother), Albert Fletcher (spouse), and Anna Wagstaff (sister). Muriel leaves to mourn her sisters, Jean Costello (Northern Ireland) and Elizabeth Mount (England), sister-in-law, Evelyn Fletcher, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Marietta and to the staff of Meadowood Manor and Grace Hospital for their kindness to Auntie. Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Temple Buntain Chapel on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Temple Youth Camp.
