Nellie Epp

She was predeceased by her husband Jacob, her daughter Karen and her parents John and Katherina. She is survived by her son Gerald (Denise) Epp.

Nellie was born in 1931 in Nikopol, Ukraine. After the Second World War, Nellie came to Canada with her parents and settled in Winnipeg. There she met Jacob, and on April 25th, 1954 they were married in the First Mennonite Church on Notre Dame Avenue.

Nellie worked as the supervisor of collections at the University of Manitoba for many years, and she enjoyed a happy retirement with Jake in their Winnipeg home.

The family wishes to acknowledge Jennifer, Anne and Ife from Primary Care Staffing, and the entire staff at the Amber Meadow senior community. Their love and support made Nellie's final year a comfortable and happy one. We also wish to acknowledge the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for making Nellie's last days safe and comfortable.
