Trish grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba later she and her family moved to a beautiful property close to the community of Anola. She loved listening and singing music, floating in the lake, gardening, and living life to the fullest, white water rafting even skydiving. Her laugh was joyful and her smile lit a room. She had a light in her that many people were drawn to. Her heart was big and cared deeply for her family, friends and even strangers. She could connect with people on a very deep level.
Trish found her true calling as a nurse, caring for many people at Central Park Nursing Home, Misericordia Hospital, Milner Ridge Correctional Centre, and Gerdau. Her nurturing and caring heart did not stop at work but was a way of life. She often was bandaging the kids in the neighborhood skinned knees and caring for sick relatives and friends.
A cremation has taken place, her light and spirit are still with us all. A celebration of life is planned for later spring. Friends and family will be contacted.
A Nurses Prayer
Let me dedicate my life today
To the care of those
Who come my way
Let me touch each one
With healing hand
And the gentle art
For which I stand
And then Tonight
When day is done
O let me rest in peace
If I helped just one…..
