It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Brulé on August 6, 2025. Paul was the beloved husband of 59 years to his devoted wife, Doreen, and a generous, loving father to Lynn (Marc), Brian (Kim), and Lori (Marquis). He was an extraordinary role model and grandfather to Kevin (Korrie), Ryan (Kayla), Kyle (Ariel), Alix (Maik), and Brett, and a proud great-grandfather to Jack, Parker, Lennon, and Eloise.
Paul was a deeply kind and selfless man who touched the lives of many. He was always present—whether for his family, friends, or anyone in need. His generosity and love for his community defined who he was, and his legacy of compassion and strength will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A Message from Your Loving Wife:
My dearest Paul, there is a void in my heart that can never be filled. You were not only my husband, but my best friend, my strength, and my safe place. Your kindness, patience, and endless selflessness touched everyone who knew you. You were always present, always giving, and always loving. I will miss you every day, and I will carry you with me always.
A Message from His Children:
Dad, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye. Your love, your steady presence, and your unwavering support shaped who we are. You gave us everything without ever asking for anything in return. Though it is so hard to let you go, we know it's time. We will carry your memory with us always, and we’ll love and miss you every single day. Thank you for being the incredible father you were. We will never stop trying to make you proud.
Paul is survived by his siblings Lucien (Louise), Germaine, and Céline (Gérard). He was predeceased by his parents, Honoré and Olive, his sister Thérèse, and brothers Michel, Fernand, Jean, and Jérôme.
Paul was a kind, selfless man who loved his family and community deeply. His generous spirit and strong presence will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Paroisse/Parish Île-des-Chênes, followed by a gathering at Grande Pointe Park (423 Bernat Rd, Grande Pointe, MB) until 5:30 p.m.
The family would love for everyone to join them at the park—a place that meant a lot to Paul—to share stories, laughter, and memories as we celebrate his life together.
