Paula Kilvert Thompson

Paula was predeceased by her husband Walter Thompson (in 2012), her parents Douglas and Frances Munro and her beloved four-legged friends Mitzie, Toby and Joey.

Paula and Walter were both only children and had no children of their own. Friends were therefore especially important in their lives.

Their special place was at Green Bay Resort at Caddy Lake where they enjoyed their summers and made many long-time friends. After her retirement from Shelter Canadian Properties, Paula and Walter enjoyed their winters in Apache Junction Arizona until they were no longer able to travel.

Among her favourite past times, Paula enjoyed a good game of Scrabble, cards, knitting and the occasional outing to a casino.

A special thanks to the staff at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their dedicated care and kindness to Paula.

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at a later date.

A Celebration of Paula's life will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway Avenue, Winnipeg on Thursday, December 15th at 10:00 AM for those wishing to attend.

Should you wish to make a charitable donation in Paula's memory, her charity of choice would be the Winnipeg Humane Society.
