It was this mischievousness and good humor which made him so lovable and allowed him to develop lasting friendships immediately. After his Father's death he joined the Royal Indian Air force along with serving in UN peace keeping in the Congo. Romesh immigrated to Canada in 1969 and was joined by his family in 1970. He retired after 34 years of service at Bristol Aerospace in 2003.
