

On December 16, 2025, Sarwa Nand Bhagria peacefully passed away, leaving behind a lifetime of love, faith, and devotion to his family. A respected elder and pillar of the Bhagria family, Sarwa Nand Ji lived a life rooted in strong values, humility, and compassion.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rup Rani Bhagria (Chai Ji), with whom he shared many cherished years of marriage. He is lovingly remembered by his sons Vikram and Agum; daughters Bindu Abbi and Indu Wasil; sons-in-law Satish Abbi and Arun Wasil; and daughters-in-law Sangeeta Bhagria and Mamta Bhagria.
He was a proud grandfather to his three granddaughters, Tina (Eric), Nita (Sumit), and Tanya, and three grandsons, Heman (Anisha), Vivek (Leytika), and Devansh, and a deeply cherished great-grandfather to Khalessi, Ellis, Jaidev, Sienna, Luksh, Arya, Ariv, and Kiara, with Kiara holding a special place in his heart, as he spent the final six months of his life with her, bringing him immense joy, comfort, and love.
Sarwa Nand Ji immigrated to Canada in 1988, where he built a meaningful life surrounded by family and community. Deeply spiritual and devoted to Hindu traditions, he lived with quiet strength and grace, always placing family first. His wisdom, warmth, and gentle presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
Shanti Paath will take place the same day at 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne’s Hindu Mandir, 999 St. Anne’s Road.
Sarwa Nand Bhagria’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the wider Hindu community. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
