It was always great to see Scott with his serious but very friendly greeting. He always had a great attitude with his struggles as he went through life and was so stubborn that he confronted anything and anyone in his way. He will be missed!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through these tough times.  Tracy was sorry she was unable to attend the funeral.

Uncle Lorne, Aunt Cheri, Brad, Shannon and families:  Stephanie, Luka and I are thinking of you all and sending love.  We hope you feel surrounded by the love and care of family and friends, especially today, as you gather to remember and give thanks for his life.  We wish so much that we could be there with you.  You are all in our hearts.

I remember Scott's first day at McCain's  I opened the lab door without looking to go get a sample and I was level with someone's belt buckle I looked up at him and I said your big he looked down at me and he said no I'm not your little and that's how we met always had alot of respect for Scott he was a good guy

During my years at McCain's I had many supervisors/lead-hands. He was one of the better ones, always had my respect. Condolences to his family.


I met Scott when I started working at McCain foods. Scott I will always remember for being one of the straight up, straight shooters. He always was quick to share a laugh and help in any way he could. After i left McCain we kept in touch but not nearly enough. God rest your soul my dear friend.  May heaven great you with open arms and all the love you so deserve. 

Scott will be greatly missed from all the Home care girls. I had the pleasure of being one of those girls. Every morning he'd greet us with a big smile and great attitude, never did I come in to him being grouchy. Scott was a great guy and will be missed dearly. RIP Big Guy ,spread your wings and fly. Whenever i see a robin I'll be thinking of you.  

I met Scott when he started at McCains and stopped by his house when he first brought his dream truck home. He always had time to talk about that Truck. I was able to take him hunting last year for deer even if he didn’t get one he was glad to be out there watching. Wish we could have gone this year again but weather did not cooperate. Will miss stopping and talking about the progress of his truck. You will be missed

I met Scott within the same week I met my future husband Russ in 1996.  They had already been long time friends and I was lucky enough to become part of that.  As the years went on Scott took great glee in addressing me as “The Warden” which always made me laugh and the first time I playfully threatened him with a “that’s one” ( as in your first warning) he would painstakingly try to get me to award him a warning of “3”.   Great sense of humour but that didn’t mean we always agreed on things and that was perfectly ok.  We will miss you Scott .... I’m honestly struggling to believe this is even real.... we had just been to a movie with you and had dinner.  I’m grateful we had a fun time and will cherish the memories. 

He will be missed!!!! Too many memories in such a short time to even go into. Other then him  harassing me I will miss that cheeky smirk and time spent with him.

Along with his parents Lorne and Cheryl, he is survived by Bradley (Debbie), Shannon (Brock and Kevin), brother-in-law Adam, 5 nephews and 1 niece and many special friends.


Predeceased by younger sister Jackie Hargrave and grandparents.
