Sherryll leaves behind her loving husband, Marty, her beloved sons and their partners, Kris and Rayna, Shawn and Kristin, her cherished granddaughters, Emily, Mackenzie, Charlotte and Brooklyn, sister-in-law’s Janice Pound and Maggie Pound, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Ada and Gordon Pound, her brother Eric, sister Gail, brother Gary, and her infant sister Linda.
Born in Roblin, Sherryll spent her childhood growing up on the family farm near Makaroff, MB. After graduation, she moved to Winnipeg to pursue a teaching degree. It was here that she made many life-long friends. Sherryll married Marty in September 1973. After pursuing different career paths, Sherryll found her true calling operating a home daycare. Parenting came naturally to Sherryll. Wonderfully caring, and kind, she wore her patience and her heart on her sleeve. She was overjoyed when she was told she was going to be a grandmother and loved doting on “her little girls.”
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Victoria Hospital for the compassionate care Sherryll received during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a cause close to your heart in Sherryll’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 28 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
