

Born Jan 22, 1929 in Louvain Belgium, daughter of Jeanne and Henry Muselle (deceased). Her early working years were spent in Belgium in accounting. She met Heinz in 1955 while visiting Switzerland, which lead into a loving relationship resulting in their marriage in 1957 in Belgium. After the wedding, they came to Canada and settled in Winnipeg.
Simone first started working at Holt Renfrew in accounting, then changed to the Provincial government in the accounting department. While working there for 30 years she made many friends and was recognized for her hard work and dedication.
She volunteered at the Crafts Guild of Manitoba from 1990-1997, first as treasurer then moving into finance. She was part of “The Tuesday Ladies Finance Group”. While there she enjoyed doing crafts and painting.
Simone was always a gracious hostess and had an active social life with her husband whether at the Swiss Club, Treffpunket, at their dinner club or Consular events. Simone and Heinz were happily involved for 30 years with the Foster Parents Plan.
Simone is survived by her cousin Betty Tessler and family, and God Children David Tessler, Heinz Kornmayer and Ursula Beer, and relatives in Belgium and Switzerland.
Simone had lived at Vista Park Lodge for 5 years, where she made many friends with staff, visitors and residents. Thank you to the staff for their compassionate care especially Joyce her hairdresser who always had the right touch.
A celebration of Simone’s life will be held at a later date, she will be greatly missed by friends and family.
