Stanley was born in Winnipegosis, MB, on June 23, 1926 to parents Rosalia and Victor Pardoski. After moving from the family farm, Stanley spent time working as a Conservation Officer before starting his career on the railroad where he would spend the next 36 years. He was always proud of his time spent working for CN. After he retired in 1986, he continued to do odd jobs and stay active. During retirement he was able to spend time with his family, his grandchildren and most recently his great-grandchildren.
Stanley is survived by his son, Dennis and daughter Debra (Henry Iskierski); his grandchildren, Dean (Carrie), Nicholas (Julie), Mark (Amanda), Bobby, Jennifer (Alan), and Monika; and his great-grandchildren, Penelope, Bethany and Weston.
Stanley is predeceased by his parents Victor and Rosalia; his brothers, Joe, Frank, John, and Victor; his sisters, Olive and Jessie; his wife, Lucy (Kowalchuk); his daughter Sandra; his second wife Mary (Grabowiecki); and daughter-in-law Janice (Dennis).
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 10:00am at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
