It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gary, on January 25, 2024 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He will be so missed by so many.
Gary was born in Swan River, Manitoba where he grew up until leaving for work as a fireman on the C.N.R. at the age of eighteen.
Gary met and married his beloved wife Beverly in 1960. They lived a very happy life together for 63 adventure filled years. There were so many joyous memories of raising a family, traveling together with family and friends, camping, motorcycle trips across North America and Europe, many musical festivals and hockey games. Gary cherished spending time with family and friends both at home, and in Mesa, Arizona. Sunday suppers were always a favourite.
Gary’s business enterprises included a Real Estate career, and owner/operator of Vital Transit Service until his retirement. He also served on the Winnipeg Real Estate Board and the Fort Garry Chamber of Commerce. Gary was a very understanding and supportive employer and treasured his many long-standing friendships garnered along his life’s journey.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Bev, their daughter Pennee Kroeker (Rob), their son Stuart Paull (Lianne), grandchildren Laura, Mitchell and Carissa Kroeker, and Jack Paull (Leah), brother Ron Paull, sister Sharon Bertrand (Roger) and sisters-in-law Jean Bates (Don) and Carole Winter (Peter) and many beloved nieces and nephews.

If you choose to make a charitable donation in Gary’s name, The Salvation Army was always a favourite of Gary’s because of the support given during the Second World War to his Father and his Uncle Bruce overseas.
Gary, you were the best family man imaginable! We will so miss your constant love and support.
