I just heard Vickram passed away.  Condolences to his children and the rest of the Chandar family.  Vickram and I would run into each other at Safeways, shopping during late hours and we would chat and chat.  He was always so friendly and jolly to have a conversation with.  I will miss seeing him at Safeways and miss our chats. Rest in peace Vickram.

I consider myself lucky to have spent so many years growing up in Winnipeg with you.
Every time I think back of the times spent playing video games and cricket or simply hanging out in the basement on Selkirk Ave, I smile with the sheer comedy that came out of  your mouth.
You were an observer of activities and then had one line comments that were classic Vickram.  Our video tapes from parties have you laughing and dancing.  These will now be prized jewels.
I am grateful for the conversation we had in January.  Hearing your voice and optimism made me think this day would never come.
At the end of our conversation, you thanked me for calling you but truly speaking, I was the one to be thankful.
Your legacy lives on in Anthony and Bryan.  
You will be dearly missed my cousin.

Everyone has written some lovely messages about Vick and there is so much to say about the type of person that he was but all that I can think of, he was my Friend. 
Vick and me were friends for over 30 years and met at Boeing working in the Stores department. Throughout those many years our friendship has remained strong.  I will miss you greatly. When we meet again, hopefully you can explain cricket to me.  Rest in Peace.

We are deeply saddened to hear that our nephew Vickram has passed away. He came to Winnipeg at a very young age and literally grew up in our home. Saturday night Bollywood movies were a must, with Vickram always there with his jokes and witty comments. Recently hearing his voice and communicating through video, gives us some comfort that he knew he was loved. Words cannot express how greatly he'll be missed.   

Vickram, I am heart broken that you are gone.

You, without a doubt, were one of my favorite cousins.  I will always cherish the memories growing up together as teenagers, from the basement parties at our house on Selkirk Av, to the antics and mischief we all got into as kids.

Of course, I am going to miss your jokes, the one-liners that seem to come from no where that made me laugh out loud or the Vickram classics, such as “Hey, Vickram what are you doing?” Your response, “Talking to you”.  Then your giggle afterwards.  Those jokes were funny.  Every. Time.

But what I am going to miss the most though, is just walking into a room and seeing you there, usually quiet, at the back of the room.  It always gave me comfort to know that you were there.  It made me feel happy just seeing you.  So, it is extremely sad to know that you won’t be there anymore.  

Cuz, thank you for the memories.  I will cherish them forever.  Rest in peace.

I knew Vic from the Redwood Plant. We had mutual friend in common, Stan Parag. We used to always chat in the lunch room daily. He was easy going and always up for a laugh. My sympathies to his family. He will be missed. 

I cannot believe you have gone Vickram you were one of the best cousins , you had the Kindest heart, always funny stories to tell and a joy to be around   I remember us as kids, you were always the sensible one amongst us.
