

Wilbert Erwin (Will) Seifert passed away peacefully on Thursday May 10, 2012 at the Concordia Hospital with his wife Marg, and family members at his side.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Margaret, one sister, Alice (Paul) and two brothers Clarence (Marlene) and Marvin (Shirley), sister in law Helen (Jack) Thomson, brother in law Wallace Biggar and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Annie.
Will was born on January 19, 1927 in Russell, Manitoba. He graduated Grade 12 at Russell Collegiate and entered the Royal Bank that same year. In the early years he moved around with the bank. Rivers, Snow Lake, Manitou, Dryden Waskada, Kenora and Winnipeg. While in Manitou, he met his wife Margaret. After being transferred, Will and Marg were engaged and married in October, 1956 in Manitou. Their first home was Dryden, Ontario. He became Bank Manager in Waskada in 1962 and this was followed by numerous postings throughout the Manitoba, Ontario region. He finished as branch manager in Kenora and was appointed to the inspection team out of Winnipeg. Will enjoyed about 5 years on inspection before he retired. He was recruited by the bank to begin a short career as a Grey Panther, selling RIFF'S.
In 1989 they began spending winters in the Bahamas and summers at their cottage at Grand Beach. Will loved the water and spent hours swimming and relaxing at the lake. They enjoyed entertaining family and friends throughout the years. Numerous overseas trips provided long lasting memories.
Marg and Will were married for 56 memorable years.
A celebration of Will's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, MS Society and or CancerCare Manitoba.
