

Andy Duncan passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2023. He was born October 19, 1955, in Merkel, Texas, to the late Don and Emma Lee Duncan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nolan and Eura Mae Duncan and maternal grandparents, Leslie and Lena Bounds.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna; two sons and their spouses, Ryan and Elizabeth Duncan; Adam and Margaret Duncan and two grandchildren, Rhona and Simon Duncan whom were his pride and joy! He is also survived by three brothers and their spouses, his twin brother, Randy and Paula Duncan (Colorado City, TX); Drue and Sammye Duncan (Whitney, Texas) and Jeff and Jill Duncan (Blanco, Texas). Survivors also include numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins
Andy spent his life working in the natural gas business. For over 40 years, he committed himself to his craft. His extensive knowledge made him an asset in the office and the field. However, it was his friendly demeanor, approachable disposition and down-to-earth personality that made him a true pleasure to work with. Over the years, Andy touched many lives and made countless friendships all over the country.
His family is eternally grateful for his dedication and devotion as a family man and provider and love for each of us. He never hesitated to take on a challenge, experience new things and offer his many words of wisdom. We treasure the memories of his well-lived life and will continue to carry on his legacy with heart felt love and gratitude.
There will be a memorial service for family and friends at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Vogler Funeral & Cremations at Forsyth Memorial Park (3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106) with a fellowship reception immediately following service.
