Larry S Edwards – 78, Advance, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 31, 2025, at Davie Medical Center. Larry is survived by his wife Wanda, daughter Stephanie Vernon (David), Lori Hill (C.C.), son-in law, Matt Johnson, grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Erica), Justin Johnson (Emily), Jacob Vernon, Zach Vernon (Amber), Matthew Vernon, and Hannah Hill. He had 9 great grandkids, Andrew, Nolan, Jace, Noah, Callahan, Carson, and Seth Johnson and Gracie and Pricilla Vernon.
Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Betty Edwards, Daughter Kim Johnson, grandson Clarence Hill III.
Larry was a family man. He loved his wife and always made sure she was first. Even during his last days with Dementia, he made sure to open doors for her, that she had food, and tucked into bed with an I love you. Larry was a loving father and growing up his 3 daughters never woke up on Christmas morning without all the toys put together, batteries and ready to play with. He was a man who never let his family down.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 6th at 1:00 PM in Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC.
