Lucille Noah Dodson, 97, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born in Surry County on April 27, 1925 to Walter and Jennie Noah. She was a long time member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She liked to travel, cook good food, and tell stories of the “old times”.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl Dodson; four brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her children, Jenny Lou Dodson of Kernersville, NC and Phillip Earl Dodson of Walnut Cove, NC; her granddaughters, Cynthia Lynn Dodson of Kernersville, NC and Angela Michelle Vazquez of Greensboro, NC; and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 890 Walkertown Guthrie Rd, Walkertown, NC 27101 on Tuesday, May 31st at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior. Burial will follow at Garden of Memory, Walkertown, NC.
