Marco Antonio Ramirez Fajardo

He was born in Guatemala on December 26, 1946. Marco always had a great sense of fashion. He was constantly stylish and always matching and accessorizing. Prior to moving to the U.S., he became a successful shoe maker selling his shoes to various stores in Guatemala.

Marco loved soccer. He grew up playing the sport and taught his children to play. He even coached soccer teams, and as he got older, enjoyed watching soccer as well.

He was a true family man. He was loving and doted over his children. Marco would do anything to provide for them, including biking to and from work every day through tough terrain just to make sure they wanted for nothing. Marco taught his children that they could accomplish anything they put their mind to and that anything was possible. His children will most remember this, by him proving it to them, by perfectly performing a handstand at 55 years old.

Marco leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Lesvia Elena Ramirez; children, Alexis Ramirez (Griselda), Dorlins Ramirez (Freddy Villalobos), Marco Antonio Ramirez, Damaris Moran (Wesley), Lesley Ramirez (Gonzalo Galvan), and Elliot Kevin Ramirez (Miriam Maldonado); 14 grandchildren; one great grandson; mother, Juana Fajardo; siblings, Rosalinda Cano, Maritza Gramajo, Sara Fajardo, and Tirza Acevedo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, December 20th at 11am at Vogler Funeral & Cremations. A service will follow at noon that will be live streamed (https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1639783310154585). Marco will be laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Marco Antonio Ramirez falleció inesperadamente el 5 de diciembre del 2021 en Winston Salem, Carolina del Norte. Marco era carismático, sobresaliente, y amaba hacer a todos reír.

El nació en Guatemala el 26 de diciembre 1946. Marco siempre tuvo un buen sentido para la moda. El se vestía con estilo y siempre buscaba un buen juego de ropa y sus accesorios. Antes de que se mudara a los Estados Unidos el se convertido en un exitoso fabricante de zapatos y vendía sus zapatos en varias tiendas en Guatemala.

Marco amaba el futbol. El creció jugando el deporte y enseno a sus hijos a jugar también. Incluso entreno a equipos, y aunque fue creciendo siguió viendo el futbol, aunque ya no pudiera practicarlo.

El fue un hombre de familia. El era amoroso y tierno con sus hijos. Marco haría cualquier cosa por proveer por ellos, incluso bicicletear al trabajo todos los días en una ruta difícil para asegurar que no necesitaran cosa alguna. Marco le enseno a sus hijos que podían alcanzar cualquier cosa que se propusieran y que todo era posible. Sus hijos lo recordaran mas por esas enseñanzas, y él siempre estaba dispuesto a probarlo, como cuando lo mostro, al pararse de manos perfectamente estable cuando tenía 55 años.

Marco deja atrás a su esposa de 31 años, Lesvia Elena Ramirez; hijos, Alexis Ramirez (Griselda), Dorlins Ramirez (Freddy Villalobos), Marco Antonio Ramirez, Damaris Moran (Wesley), Lesley Ramirez (Gonzalo Galvan), and Elliot Kevin Ramirez (Miriam Maldonado); 14 nietos; un bisnieto; mama, Juana Fajardo; hermanas, Rosalinda Cano, Maritza Gramajo, Sara Fajardo, and Tirza Acevedo; and numerosos primos y sobrinos.

Familia y amigos se congregarán el lunes, 20 de diciembre a las 11 de la mañana en Vogler Funeral & Cremations. Un servicio seguirá y este será transmitido en vivo por internet (https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1639783310154585). Marco será puesto a descansar en Parklawn Memorial Park.
