Maya Nicole Blackburn

Maya Nicole Blackburn was 17 years old, born August 31, 2005 at 9:23 pm at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Maya transitioned Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home in Winston Salem, NC. Maya was a pure bright and talented young lady who was on the path to accomplishing so much in her life. She was an honor roll student at Carver High School and graduated early in the year. She was looking forward to attending Salem University next year to further her education. Maya was also very artistic and had a talent for art, freehand drawing and crocheting.

Maya is original. A pure soul who is thoughtful and loved by everyone who knew her. She was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She deeply adored her nephew Jordan and was always there to support and love him.
