

Jimmy C. Scott II, 52, of Winter Garden, FL passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2014. He was born on September 2, 1962 in Parkersburg, West VA. Jimmy was a true, hard-working handyman who loved to stay busy. He was a licensed Journeyman Electrician for 30 years and in that time proudly worked alongside the Army in Afghanistan at FOB Pasab for a year and in Antarctica at McMurdo Station for the National Science Foundation with Raytheon Polar Services for 2 years. Jimmy worked for IES, FLUOR, and presently Terry’s Electric, where he was truly happy to be at home. In addition to his work life, Jimmy enjoyed flea markets, was a car and truck enthusiast, and he loved all types of music. Jimmy also loved to travel and camping was his family’s way of life. He centered his life around his family and to all those who knew him, he was truly a wonderful, caring, and giving man.
Jimmy was preceded in his passing by his father, Jimmy C. Scott, Sr.; his mother Barbara Bridges; and his father-in-law Douglas Black.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tammy Scott; his daughter Jessica Scott; his sister Kimberly Ahrendt; his step-father, Storm Bridges; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Black Amaral.
A Celebration of Jimmy’s Life gathering will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, November 13 at Baldwin Fairchild Winter Garden, 428 E Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. A Memorial Service will begin at 7pm.
