John William Lucian Beck passed away on January 6, 2025. John was born on April 4, 1928 in Winter Garden, Florida. He was a 3rd Generation Native of West Orange County and grew up and raised his family here.
John Graduated with honors from the University of Florida, prior to serving his country in the United States Air Force. He then went to work as a lifelong Citrus Producers and retired from the United States Department of Agriculture. He was an amazing Cattleman and owned and operated Beck’s Feed and Garden Supply from 1972 to the 1980’s. However, first and foremost he loved and served his Lord and Savior and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Winter Garden.
John is survived by his loving wife, Josephine, his Daughter, Jennifer Bracewell, his Son, Andrew Beck, his 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
John is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Beck and his Son, William Stanley Beck.
