Paul John Murray

Paul John Murray, age 80, passed away on January 27, 2015. Paul was born on January 8, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He and his wife, Sally, moved here to Central Florida in 1986. Paul proudly served in the United States Navy for 22 years. He passionately loved the scarlet and gray of The Ohio State University. He also was a passionate fan of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers. Paul had a penchant for taking money from Las Vegas casinos and on-line sports bookies. Paul was preceded in passing by his brothers, James and John Murray, as well as his sisters Kay, Mildred and Loraine. Paul is survived by his wife, Sally Murray; son, Patrick Murray; his six grandchildren (Kathleen, Russell, Jeff, Matthew, Paul Michael & Natasha) as well as his five great-grandchildren (Jeffrey, Emma, Blake, Parker & Hudson). A visitation will be held at Baldwin- Fairchild Winter Garden on Monday, February 2 from 6:30pm- 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:30am with a graveside service to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. Paul Murray was a life-long disciple of Jesus Christ and is now with his lord and savior and all of the saints, as well as all of his pre-deceased family and friends in paradise. Arrangements are under the care of Baldwin- Fairchild.
