
Bob was born on February 5, 1944, in Lackawanna, Pennsylvania, to Mary Austin Baumgartner and Elmer Baumgartner. He graduated from Scranton Technical High School and went on to build a successful and respected career. Bob worked in aviation with Simcom International Flight Academy, where he was known for his dedication and professionalism. Prior to his work in aviation, he was employed by Erie Insurance in Erie, Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, Bob was valued for his strong work ethic and commitment.
Bob married the love of his life, Brenda Plasters, in Orlando, Florida. Together they built a life centered on family, friendship, and shared memories.
He was an active member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the American Legion in Orlando, Florida. Bob had a true passion for karaoke and brought joy to many through his enthusiasm for music and entertaining others. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, sense of humor, and love of community.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Elmer Baumgartner.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Baumgartner; his daughter, Teresa Baumgartner; his son, Mark Baumgartner; his sister Carolyn Baumgartner; and two cherished grandchildren.
Bob’s legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
