
Tom was born on January 13, 1943, in Windber, Pennsylvania, to the late William McCuch and Margaret McCuch (née Campbell). He was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” McCuch.
He met and married the love of his life, Shirley McCuch (née Farkas), and together they shared 60 years of marriage, built on faith, love, and devotion to family.
Tom earned a bachelor’s degree and worked for many years as a systems analyst. He also proudly served in the United States Army, honoring his country with dedication.
A man of deep and unwavering faith, Tom was a devoted member of his church. He was a Knight of Columbus, served as a lector, a Eucharistic minister, and dedicated many years to teaching CCD, generously sharing his faith with others.
He was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies and found his greatest joy in time spent with his family—especially his grandchildren, whom he adored.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley McCuch; his children, Thomas A. McCuch and Tracy Barone (Frank); his brother, Dominick McCuch; and his cherished 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania during the summer, with a Burial in Windber, Pennsylvania, with details to be announced at a later date.
