Thomas Earl Pechous, age 85, of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Thomas dedicated his life to both service and his career. He proudly served in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division from October 28, 1960, to October 26, 1962, where he was honorably discharged with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E4).
Thomas had a successful career in the production industry. From 1984 to 1998, he served as Director of Production at Burson-Marsteller in Chicago. Later, he continued his career as the Director of Production at Chenoff Newman LLC from 1999 until his retirement in 2018.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher Joseph Pechous. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Diane M. Pechous; his son, Thomas Michael Pechous; and his cherished grandchildren, Danielle Pechous and Amanda Pechous.
A Funeral Mass to honor Thomas will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, located at 720 12th St, Clermont, Florida 34711. Following the mass, a committal service will take place at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida 33679.
Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will remain forever in our hearts.
