It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Leroy Sapp, 67, of Winter Garden, Florida on September 13, 2020. After many years of struggle with health and always finding the strength to pull through he lost his battle and is now able to rest with the Lord.
He was born on September 10, 1953 to James Tommy & Mildred Louise (Pittman) Sapp and raised in Winter Garden, FL. He met the love of his life Jaye Darleen Dennis at an early age and she became his wife of 48 years.
By trade, Thomas was a Telephone Equipment Manager by character he was a husband and father; Whenever he could, he ventured into the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He loved to laugh and joke and could always be found with a smile. His family treasures the countless joyful memories they made together vacationing in the Smoky Mountains, fishing on Sanibel Island or the big dove cookout after the season.
Thomas was predeceased in death by his father James Tommy Sapp
He is survived by his loving wife, Jaye Darleen Sapp; three sons, Patrick Sapp, wife Stephanie Sapp, Joshua Sapp , and Shaun Sapp, along with his granddaughters Cheyanne Sapp, Emily Sapp and Katherine Sapp.
He also leaves behind his mother Mildred Louise Sapp Fowler, husband Rev. Walter Fowler and sister Sharon Mills, husband Bob Mills,
Local services will be held but are limited to immediate family, Flowers will be accepted for the service held on October 1st at 10:00am at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden Fl.
