Jane was born in Geneva, AL. Her family moved to Orlando when she was 2 months old, so she considered herself to be a Floridian. She graduated from Orlando High School in 1948. She retired as an administrative assistant for Orange County Schools and for Defense Contract Audit Agency. Jane is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and David Clum, one son Edward (Buddy) McCloud, one grandson Andrew Baldwin and wife Meagan, and 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cadence, and Zechariah Baldwin.
Jane was an avid reader, and she enjoyed sewing quilts to share with family and nursing home residents. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Winter Garden.
The grave-side service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
