

Violet Martin was born 24 October 1935 in Larwill, Indiana to Therman and Edna Yoquelet Martin. She died peacefully on 24 October 2024 at 11:37 holding her son Thomas Miesch by the hand at Winter Garden, Florida.
Violet Martin was the mother of Jill, Jan, Tom and Susan and the wife of Ron Martin. Violet went to college as a young woman and obtained a degree in business where she learned skills that would help her later in life. She was an accomplished pianist and started playing the piano at the Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren in Tunker, Indiana at age 12. She was the pianist at the Vineland Baptist Church for many years. She also played piano for the Good News Quartet, a group of young men that were learning to share the gospel through music.
Violet was dedicated to her husband and children and served as a homemaker for her family when her children were young and in school. She was a real-estate Broker with Flamingo Reality and served the greater Orlando area as an expert realtor for many years. She helped establish a rehabilitation home for women released from prison.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. and generously hosted special events and gatherings for her family every holiday. It was a tradition to have a family reunion at the farm in Indiana every Fourth of July. She was a wonderful person who loved the Lord and practiced her faith to the best of her ability. She will be sorely missed and will hold a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
