William “Bill” Vannice, 62, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on December 15, 1962, Bill made Central Florida his home for most of his life.
A proud graduate of West Orange High School, Class of 1981, Bill went on to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy in 1983. He honorably served as a Petty Officer Second Class, stationed out of Seattle aboard a nuclear submarine until his discharge in 1988. Following his military service, he began his career with Vannice Construction. In 1999 Bill left Vannice construction to start his own business - Contractor's Services Corporation. He retired from Contractor's Services Corporation in 2023.
Bill had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed small-scale model building, a hobby that showcased his attention to detail and patience.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tanya Vannice; his children, Payne Vannice, Rachel Vannice, and Renee Vannice; his devoted parents, Donald and Joy Vannice; and his siblings: Becki Smith (Billy), Joe Hayes (Kari), Johanna Denmark (Brian), Joanna Corry (Henry), and Angela Damon. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Bill's Life life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Family Church – Windermere Campus, located at 300 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786.
Bill will be remembered for his strong work ethic, unwavering love for his family, and his quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
