
Ann, My husband, Jesse, taught at Jewett when your husband was principal there.  He admired your husband.  When I had the privilege of being at Jewett at various times he was always so kind.  May the comfort that God gives be yours in the days ahead.  Mary Jane and Jesse Barlow

We used to live next door to the Hays on Ave D,  My  oldest daughter, Casey still remmebers going to visit the Hays and the drawer of toys they kept in the living room as well as the yummy citrus trees in their yard.  We are very sad to hear of Mr Hay's passing.  Ann, please know that he lives on in our daughter and our memories.  Bob and Brenda Feindt

Dear Ann & Family, My prayers & condolences go out to you. I remember MANY years ago when he was my P.E. coach at Brigham Elementary, & later  my tennis coach. He was a kind & compassionate man with a wonderful sense of humor. He always had a smile or good laugh for others no matter what the circumstances. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Hays Family,
It was my pleasure working for Al at Lake Shipp Elementary in the late 1960's as well as  being a former tennis student.  He was a dear special man who held his family close to his heart and was known for his caring ways.  It was my sincere pleasure to have worked with and known Al throughout  the many years. My condolences are sent to each of the family members with my prayer that you will always know he is with you through the memories you all created together. Thank you for sharing him with students and the community for so many years.

Dear Ann and Family,  
Al was a fantastic P.E. teacher, principal, and tennis coach.  You all were a fantastic family and a joy to live near and visit.  I knew and respected Al through my childhood education at Brigham and later as an educational consultant in my professional life.  He was a wonderful coach to a little girl who was unathletic, unco-ordinated and non-competitve.  He pushed me to the limit to be successful in all things.  What a great mentor he was and what wonderful "lessons" I learned from him.  I know God was waiting for him and will welcome him into "the team" in heaven.  Dana Cooper Fitzgerald
