I have many wonderful life long memories with Brenda. Growing up she was like a second Mom to me. I spent nearly everyday after school in the 10th grade with Tina and Brenda at their house watching Days of Our Lives and eating yummy French fries. And the awesome times when we went to the Smokies.  Camping in the Smokies was by far Brenda's favorite pasttime. There were so many wonderful memories, more than I can write. Including,  Tina's wedding and my wedding when I was distraught because my customized toasting glasses somehow got broken and she went out at the last minute and found me a beautiful set. All because she knew how much they meant to me. That was Brenda! I still cherish these glasses 21 years later. Thank you Brenda and Gary for always making me feel like a part of your family and for all of the precious memories. I love you Brenda and will miss you greatly. Much love to Gary, Tina , and Kim and their families. Love you all.

We have wonderful memories of traveling to great locations with Gary and Brenda.  One particular funny memory was when we went to London together.  Trying to plan ahead I made reservations at a B & B somewhere far from the city center. We were jet lagged and wanted to get our rental car, stuff our too many suitcases in it and find the B & B. We drove the streets for hours (pre GPS in cars) trying to use their maps and follow street signs. However,their street signs were scarce.
We finally paid a taxi driver to lead us to the B&B and tired or not we laughed all the way. We laughed all the time. Brenda asked for iced tea and the waitress looked like she had been slapped. There were many trips and fun times.  Memories are like gifts that can be opened every day to enjoy over and over.  Rest in Peace Brenda.

My heart goes out to you all.  Brenda was a great friend.  I will always remember the times we spent together.  I remember the Halloween party we all went to at Sarah’s.  It was hard to tell Gary and Ron apart...lol.  Brenda and I were dressed as pizzas and we had a broom handle on our shoulder to make the pizza slice look real.  It was difficult to get around...but we sure had fun.
May you always remember all the good memories you have.

We will never forget when Brenda and Joan visited us.  We went to the 4th of July parade in a neighboring town.  The parade participants  throw candy to the parade watchers.  Brenda said she had never seen anything like that and was out in the street along with the kids grabbing the candy.  Memories are priceless!!

Brenda was the owner and operator of  Bloomin’ Attic in Winter Haven. She is survived by her husband Gary, 2 daughters Tina (Mark) Young and Kim (Edward) Samaro, 2 brothers, William B. Bass Jr. and Robert Bass, 8 Grandchildren, Chrissy, Matthew, Hannah, Kevin, Alex, Justin, Kaitlyn and Bella.
