Harry George Drescher III

Harry George Drescher III of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born on June 13, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Harry George Drescher Jr. and Hazel Cannon Drescher. Harry moved to Winter Haven from Fort Lauderdale after retirement.

Harry worked at Advanced Surfaces for much of his life and retired as Director of National Sales in 2017. He was a graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School, class of 1965. He attended Jones College in Jacksonville, Florida and was President of Phi Theta Pi. Harry was a former co-owner of Hazel Cannon clothing stores in Fort Lauderdale and was also a former member of Coral Ridge Yacht Club.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Dianna Drescher, son Trevor Ferguson and son-in-law Clint Ferguson, granddaughter Ava Ferguson, sister Bonnie Warren (Dave), sister-in-law Donna Penny, nephew Rod Penny (Ana) and nieces Kim Warren (Jennifer), Cheri Warren-Bell (Tim) and Debbie Penny. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a service celebrating his life to begin at 2:00 PM
