Hezekiah Lee Moseley

Hezekiah Lee Moseley, 75, of Fieldstone Circle, went peacefully with the angels into eternal life on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven. Three months ago, he was diagnosed as having a glioblastoma stage 4 brain tumor that he courageously fought until the end.

Mr. Lee was born in Bennett, Florida to the late A.J. Moseley and Ethel Mae Gainer. He was brother to the late Richard Moseley and Walter Bryant. Mr. Lee was the beloved husband of Germaine Cassell Moseley of Trinidad and Tobago. They were married in 1965. Mr. Lee was raised and educated in the Panama City school system where he played football. He had an avid passion for sports, music and loved to spend his time at Disney World where he enjoyed vacationing. Mr. Lee's career was in the food industry and management, which he began while working in Howard Johnson's Restaurant in NYC. After leaving Howard Johnson's, he became the chef and manager of the Indian Kitchen Restaurant (NYC), Holsum Ice Cream (NYC), and Richard's Place (Queens, NY). Mr. Lee was a hard-working man and the sole provider for his family of seven.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, and their families, which include fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren whom he was always known as "Madee" and

by his faithful dog/companion "Foxy".

Survivors include Madee's loving wife of 48 years, Germaine Cassell Moseley; his children, Cindy Moseley "Sam" of Albany, NY, Sharmaine Moseley "Charlie" of Albany, NY, Mary Ann Moseley-Collins "Freddie" (Cesar) of Winter Haven, Melissa Kuteesa "Missy" (Paul) of Albany, NY, Leslie Ann Moseley "Tootsie" of Winter Haven, and Hezekiah Lee Moseley, Jr. "Boo" of Winter Haven. Survivors also include his fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dios, Sandy, Shirley, Eva, Devina, Sasha, Joe, Deita, Velma, Linda, and Marie who helped Madee in his good and bad days at Life Care.
