Winter Haven - Ms. Jimmie Wetherington Kile went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2011 due to heart disease. She was born in Lake Alfred on December 28, 1933 to Samuel and Nina Wetherington.
Ms. Kile spent many years working as a nurse's aide in area nursing facilities including the Heart of Florida Hospital, Haines City Health Care, and the former Bishop Grey Inn. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Winter Haven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Louise Addison, and her brothers Ralph, Curtis, and John Wetherington. She is survived by her daughters Jodie Neal and Debra Howell (Michael) of Winter Haven, and her sister Audrey Robert of Columbia, S.C.
A service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
