John was very active in the Four Lakes Community with Golf, Table Tennis, shuffle-board, and singing. He was a member of Act IV and entertained residents at local nursing homes. John was a Titanic buff. He was an avid reader and volunteered at the community library.
John was in the Marines. John is survived by his wife Joanne of 55 years, his daughters Mary Lessor, Sally Head, and Johna (Jim) Dean, and his grandchildren, Megann Head and Jaiden Dean.
