I've just learned of the passing of Mrs. Wagy (“Little Judy” as we used to call her). Mrs. Wagy was “that mom” in our extended neighborhood. Always the kind voice of reason.
Both “Big Stan” and “Little Judy” were always giving us youngsters little tid bits of wisdom about life. I'm not sure they even knew that they were doing it. It was just who they were and are. I for one always knew that if I needed a sane place where I could get good sound advice, I could pop in for a chat. Jeff, Doug, and Matt were always willing to share their mom with us who were perhaps a little less fortunate. I am grateful for that generosity. Today I live very far from Winter Haven. But, I am struck by the loss of Mrs. Wagy as though I lived next door.
I am sad. But, I also know that Mrs. Wagy had a personal relationship with the Lord and lives still. To young, to soon. I wish you were still here with us Little Judy.

Judy was a faithful volunteer in helping young musicians realize their potential in the competitions sponsored by the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. She was a lovely lady, always pleasant and cooperative. We shall miss her devotion in our Lake Wales Music Club. We send our deepest sympathy to her family.

Mrs. Wagy has made a lasting impression on my life. She taught me how to play the piano and now I use my talent every Sunday to serve the Lord. I think about her often and have stayed in contact over the years. I'm sorry to hear of her passing but I know she is rejoicing beside her Savior and pain free. Heaven just got a little sweeter...and an awesome piano player.

Our hearfelt condolences to Wagy family. Our little girl Lianne deeply appreciate the knowledge she shared in music and lovingly cherished the times shared with her.She will be deeply missed.

Stan and boys, I am sorry for your loss of a precious wife and mother. Judy fought a good fight and usually with a smile. She was a beautiful lady and I loved her. I will miss a dear friend.

Mrs. Wagy was my piano teacher for 10 years.  I am now a piano teacher myself because of her influence in my life.  She touched my life in a huge way.  If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be a piano teacher.  I wanted to be like her and impact a young child/teen's life through music the way she touched mine.  She taught me more than just piano.  She taught me to love my family, to be patient, to be disciplined and to work hard.  She taught me so many things about life and lived a beautiful example of how to love God and love family.  She always believed in me and was always so proud of me in a way that no one else was.  I will never forget the look of pride on her face when I had piano recitals in college.  She made me feel like I could conquer anything.  I haven't been her student for over 10 years now, but after I went to college and began my own studio, she became my mentor and friend.  She spent MANY hours giving me advice and helping me with my teaching.  I can't imagine her not being a phone call away anymore.  I will miss her so much.  She made me into the woman I am today.  Her influence will span many generations as I pass her life and lessons onto my own students.  I love you Mrs. Wagy!

Stan, I was so sorry to hear about Judy's passing. You and your family are and will remain in my prayers during this difficult time.

Mrs. Wagy was my piano teacher in the mid-late 90s.  She was an amazing instructor and I am blessed to have taken lessons from her.  I recently contacted her to play the piano at my wedding.  She felt honored but because of the effects of her cancer & treatments, she was unable to.  A couple of months later, her cancer had returned and soon passed away.  I couldn't have had a better teacher, and at the end I shall say,  Faretheewell, Mrs. Wagy...you are home with the Lord, now, and won't be going through any of life's struggles anymore.  Praise His name for your time on earth and your use for his glory!

The world has lost one of its most precious people.  We were friends for 63 years.  I'm sorry she didn't have more time on this earth to enjoy her beloved grandchildren and for them to enjoy her.  She will be so greatly missed.  May God comfort your family.
