

Julia Campbell Parker, age 84, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Julia was born April 14, 1937 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Vernon Elliott Campbell and Laura Elizabeth Clark. Julia lived in South Carolina throughout her childhood; after graduating from Erskine College she moved to Florida. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven and was a teacher for the Polk County School Board for most of her life, mainly teaching Home Economics to Junior High students.
Julia is predeceased by her husband of over 45 years Ace Parker and her granddaughter Morgan Elizabeth Nason. She leaves behind her children Michael Lamar Parker (Carey), Raymond Elliott Parker (Shelly) and Laura Elizabeth Prince (Carmon), her grandchildren Steven Nason (Mary), Michael Nason (Taylor), Amanda Camargo (Dan) and Kimberly Henkel (Jake) along with her great-grandchildren Alek, Kora, Ezra, Mia, Asher and Ethan. Julia also leaves behind a multitude of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A gathering of family and friends for Julia will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823.
