Monday September 15, 2014 due to heart failure.
Kathy was born in Danville IN, grew up in Lafayette In and moved to Central Florida in 1964. Kathy graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended Polk Community College. She retired from Winter Haven Library as Adult Section Supervisor in 2008.
Preceded in death by her husband Ronald E Johnson in 1985. Survivors include her 3 children, Susan Redinbo, Jon R (Dawn) Johnson and Mary Johnson, all of Winter Haven, five grandchildren, Andy Olejniczak, Jon Redinbo, Ryan Olejnizak, Taylor Johnson, Kara Martin and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 8 pm at Ott-Laughlin in Winter Haven. A Funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
