Preceded in death by her husband Jim, she’s survived by her children James, Robert (Nancy), David (Joellie) & Susan; and her beloved grand-children Bradley, Tommy, Christine, Collin and Matthew.
She was a long time resident of Winter Haven and known for her dedication to First Presbyterian Church; Brigham Elementary, Lake Shipp Elementary & Fruitland Park Learning Center; Girl Scout Troop 4, Red Cross, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, PEO Sisterhood & Polk Training Center.
Raised in North Wales, PA, Maggie earned her BA in Education from Ursinus College and her Masters of Education from Rollins College. She was the recipient of WH Chamber of Commerce’s – 1978 Woman of the Year Award. She was a remarkable woman who left behind a family who loved her and each other.
Memorial service: Friday February 23rd, 11:00 AM, First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Polk Training Center, 111 Creek Rd., Lake Alfred 33850.
