Mary Maud Deese

Mrs. Deese was very active in church, attending Central Baptist in Winter Haven for many years. She enjoyed visiting the sick with her friend, Joann Rouse. She was a huge NASCAR fan, especially #88 (Dale Jarrett), and enjoyed traveling to different states to see the races. Mrs. Deese always had a positive outlook on life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Deese is preceded in death by her husband, Everett B. "Pete" Deese, as well as her sons, Everett B. "Butch" Deese Jr., and Leslie W. Deese.

She is survived by her children, Ann Palmer (Alan), John Deese (Lisa), Jimmy Deese (Nancy), and Bobby Deese (Dana); daughter in law, Karen Deese; grandchildren, Kellie Burns (Scott), Katie Deese, Chris Palmer, Jason Deese, Brian Deese (Lauren), Justin Deese, Andrew Deese, and Alex Deese; as well as her great grandchildren Brittney & Damon Palmer, Jordan Norris, Vanessa Smith, LeeAna Deese, Brynlee Deese, and Addison Deese.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Central Baptist Church, 57 6th St NW, Winter Haven, Florida 33881 with a funeral service to follow. Interment will take place at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
